Sanna Åbonde, SUGAR® certified/licensed, HMA – Holistic Medicine for Addiction specialist, Recovery coach & Body Consciousness practitioner, with my own experience in sugar/food addiction. I noticed early in life (3 1/2 years) that I loved sugar, and that I didn’t eat like others, I stole, hid, sneaked, and had a hard time focusing on anything other than when I was going to eat sugar again. I have always ”known” that something was wrong with me and that my willpower was not enough, as I saw in others. The right fuel mix for my brain paired with tools to deal with the addictionbrain became my way to recovery.
I utilize ketogenic nutritional therapy services to help people improve their mental health and functioning. I have worked with many children, teens, and adults of all ages who suffered from mental health conditions such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and/or ADD/ADHD.
Dr. Don Agcopra is a board-certified adult neurologist and a Fellow of the Philippine Neurological Association (PNA). He first encountered low carbohydrate nutrition and delved deeper into the biochemistry, physiology and pathology of metabolic health after he himself realized that he had developed Insulin Resistance/Metabolic Syndrome. With a very low carbohydrate ketogenic diet (VLCKD) regimen admixed with Intermittent Fasting (IF) as well as episodic high intensity interval training (HIIT) exercises, he successfully deprescribed himself from medications and managed to put all his Metabolic Syndrome manifestations into remission, thereafter applying it to most of his patients.
As a board-certified psychiatrist, my approach combines conventional psychiatry and nutritional therapies to achieve optimal brain health for my clients. I also provide telehealth visits and work closely with other medical and mental health providers. I am grateful for Dr. Georgia Ede’s mentorship and for this wonderful directory! Please note that I only see Connecticut residents.

I use low carb/ketogenic nutrition to help my clients improve and maintain their metabolic health, including mental health. My philosophy is a nutrient first approach using my Nutrient-to-Energy Reset programme. By combining my knowledge of nutrition and low carb-ketogenic diets with mind sciences, I help my clients transform from "overweight and overwhelmed to healthy and thriving".

In my practice, I focus on looking for the root causes of the patient's issues, and implementing therapies that aim to mitigate the root causes instead of just medicating symptoms. A minha prática tem o foco em procurar as raízes dos problemas que os pacientes apresentam e em implementar tratamentos que visam a melhorar as causas, ao invés de simplesmente medicar sintomas.

I help people who've had bariatric surgery determine whether carbohydrate addiction and/or post-op nutritional malabsorption are problems for them. If so, I guide them through a structured recovery process to overcome those complex challenges. I, myself, am gratefully maintaining a 200-lb weight loss. The long and difficult process it’s taken me to reach stable recovery and vital health has given me a true passion for helping others. The education I’ve pursued, and the certifications I’ve earned, allow me to effectively lead my clients into remission from the complex and dangerous disease of carb addiction.

I treat neurologic disorders (neurodegenerative disorders as Alzheimer’s, parkinsonian syndromes, MS, etc.) and other mental symptoms (loss of energy, long Covid, brain fog, etc.) with multimodal approach, based on metabolic and functional neurology (including neuro-hormonal assessment and treatment). The metabolic approach is based on a well-formulated ketogenic diet (with BHB monitoring) and fixing the frequent vitamin & mineral insufficiencies (e.g. FAD, methyl and adenosylcobalamin, MTHF, CoQ10, selenium and zinc, etc.). Finally, lifestyle interventions are most of the time required (sun and light exposure, cold exposure, sleep management, etc.).
I treat psychiatric disorders and other mental symptoms mainly with a double approach, based on metabolic and functional psychiatry, and on mindfulness. Finally, lifestyle interventions are most of the time required (sun and light exposure, sleep management, etc.).

I work in a boutique practice specializing in low carbohydrate diets. Most of my patients have the metabolic syndrome. I use Dr Westman's approach and aim to keep the diet simple. I offer a personal approach with email and phone support and a patient facebook group. I have been using ketogenic and low carbohydrate diets for 4 years and I am still amazed at the results I see on a daily basis. As Dr Westman says " So unbelievable, no-one believes it!"
A functional medicine, holistic approach is at the heart of my practice. I work with my clients to discover the root-cause of their symptoms. Where appropriate laboratory testing is available. I create a bespoke health plan for each client and gently guide and support them on their wellness journey to reach their full health potential. Alongside nutritional recommendations, I incorporate trauma release, stress management and emotional resilience coaching.
My LCHF credentials began in 2016 as an N=1 in order to assist my daughter who had been diagnosed with a serious mental illness. In coordination with health care professionals, I implemented the Ketogenic Diet as a dietary intervention to treat her condition which is now in full remission. Learning the mechanisms by which the Ketogenic LCHF lifestyle impacts metabolic health has allowed me to advocate, support and coach clients on their journey to better health. As a Certified Nutrition Network Advisor, my goal is to continue to share my experience with those that express interest in my knowledge base or inquire about the nutritional tools I utilize in applying the principles of a LCHF Ketogenic Lifestyle especially for mental health.
The ketogenic diet is a powerful tool used to correct metabolic dysfunction. Different ranges of ketosis can be used to treat various medical conditions and help titrate or eliminate medications. Working with clients to find practical solutions and creative ways to live a ketogenic lifestyle is my expertise.

I am a gentle chiropractor who is passionate about using food to maximize health. My license in California does NOT allow me to manage your prescription medicines, so we need to include the person who prescribed the medicine on our team of experts taking care of you.

I empower clients to achieve their mental health goals. I do this using a powerful, proven health coaching framework combined with hard-won, science-based information. My dual training in physics and health coaching allows me to combine deep understanding of the scientific literature (nerd alert!) with the human skills needed to empower you, the unique individual, to achieve what YOU want for YOUR health.
Ketogenic diets have been successfully and safely used for over 100 years in epilepsy. Our brain is hungry for electrical power. It also needs to be built from high quality material. If we can't provide this power, or if the brain is unable to use it due to low quality building blocks, the brain malfunctions. Let's fix that together!
I support individuals, who want to improve the quality of their life by implementing holistic lifestyle changes, with a focus on the ketogenic diet for mental health. I have experienced myself the radical positive effect of the diet on the mental but also physical health. I have found it to be the first and most important change that sets the foundation for improving all aspects of health. The initial implementation of the diet could be challenging but I have developed a set of tools and best practices that I am happy to share!
I'm on a metabolic mission to help people elevate their health and regain the vitality we all deserve, one pleasurable nutrient rich, real, whole foods meal at a time. In my Favor Fat metabolic health and fitness practice, I counsel clients using an integrative approach, straight talk and sound, traditional healing practices. I believe that the root causes of metabolic and many mental health conditions lies within the toxic ingredients people are consuming and a lack of connection to nature and community. My book and podcast, The Nourishment Mindset, reflect the teachings and techniques I use in my practice.
I am an attachment based, trauma informed psychotherapist. I like to support people in becoming the most vital person they can be. This includes an integrative approach to treating mental health issues that is collaborative and person centered.
I use an existential, humanistic approach to treatment where the person in front of me knows themselves and their history better than anyone in the world, and I am there to understand, support, and help them figure out how to move forward. Everything that gets in the way of who and where they want to be deserves time, patience, curiosity, and humour to make sense of it all. I am most experienced in cognitive approaches to therapy, understanding how we think, identifying and deconstructing unhelpful beliefs, reinforcing our desire and ability to take control of our lives, and giving attention where it is needed.
Can provide remote consulting services. In-person medical services at Great Plains Family Medicine Residency to be under the direct care of resident physicians with Dr. Kennedye's supervision. His medical philosophy is to help you achieve your health goals your way. In his time as a doctor, he has found a few things to be true. First, most stuff gets better on its own. Second, if the bad stuff isn't getting better, remove the problem. When he realized how much good brain nutrition could help his patients, he looked to Dr. Ede for help. Because of Dr. Ede, family physicians like me can incorporate these amazing mental health treatments into our practices.
I’m Joy Kiddie, a full-time Registered Dietitian who has been in clinical practice in Coquitlam, British Columbia since 2008.
For the last 5 years I have supported people following therapeutic ketogenic diets for seizure disorder and as adjunct treatment in specific forms of cancer. Since my graduate research was in the area of mental health nutrition and there is evolving evidence that a therapeutic ketogenic diet can be useful as an adjunct treatment in some mental health disorders, I have more recently been providing therapeutic ketogenic diet support to those who want to trial it for this use.

I take a compassionate and curious approach to working with clients who struggle with addictions, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, food addiction, binge eating, eating disorders, poor body image, stress, burn-out, relationships, work, finding purpose and meaning, grief and loss and 12-step recovery. I work in a trauma-informed, Internal Family Systems informed and person centred way. Our work together will depend on what your goals are. I use a functional medicine approach to psychiatry in which the first step is to look for physical root causes of symptoms. While those are being addressed I work with patient in individual psychotherapy to teach strategies and techniques for making lifestyle changes and ways to think differently to help reduce symptoms. I treat with medications but usually not as a first line approach. I will prescribe medications initially on occasion to calm down symptoms and buy time to address root causes. The end goal is to use minimal or no medications but rather to have the patient learn to control their symptoms through lifestyle changes so that they can function at their best possible level.
My practice consists of online services only in which I assist people as an educator and health coach to teach people how to use a ketogenic diet for mental health and neurological issues, leverage nutrigenomics, and explore functional health coaching to resolve any residual symptoms. I do not currently work with vegan populations. Individual psychotherapy sessions via telehealth in Washington state, where I am licensed, are very limited.
Think your nutrition has no effect on your mental health? Think again! Traditional medical interventions for mental health disease are ineffective at best, and harmful at worst. Research shows that there are profound impacts that nutrition has on mental health symptoms and there are short, non-invasive interventions that can completely resolve disease in as little as 2 hours! Gone are the days of years of therapy, medications, and suffering. You can heal, and you can heal effortlessly and quickly! Fire Team Whiskey offers short-term mental health and trauma resolutions that are based on the latest cutting-edge research and actually work!
Food is the most powerful medicine for the body. Questioning of stressful thoughts is the most powerful practice for the mind. One must have a healthy ego before one can grow beyond the confines of identification with ego. Psychotherapy must employ “shadow work” to be evolutionary. Using the most powerful tools to address body/mind problems will help us move naturally into spirit.
I prefer to work remotely or in person with those who have a psychiatrist who is doing the prescribing. I will assist in helping to lower carbohydrate intake as tolerated while monitoring improvement and addressing barriers to this life style. I will assist in providing guidance on the safe tapering and discontinuation of medications.

Four decades of chronic illness, severe oxalate toxicity, three decades practicing advanced bodywork, an engineering mind, and quadriplegia have informed me greatly. Since 2019 I have been living a mostly carnivore and low oxalate diet which has facilitated deep healing that doctors said was not possible with a spinal cord injury. Since 2021 I have been experiencing: improved sensation in my hands, improved diaphragm functioning, mood improvements, heart opening, spiritual deepening, reduction in thyroid meds and excitement about my life moving forward. I have studied directly with Georgia Ede, Mary Ruddick and Sally K Norton. When you work with me you get someone who’s willing to jump in the mud with you and be your guide.

My doctoral research focused on understanding how human decision-making is influenced by neurotransmitter changes. I ran clinical trials, gaining an appreciation of the roles hormones play in human decisions. A lifelong migraine sufferer, in 2008 I retired from academia and have been an avid researcher in the field of migraines. Understanding the cause of migraines, I have been working with thousands of migraine sufferers around the world, helping them learn how to abort and prevent migraines by the use of nutrition.

For more than 30 years, people have come to me to solve chronic illness problems that have often plagued them for years. They’ve been to so many doctors, undergone so many tests, and still had no solution. My efforts almost always start with diet because, truly, food is medicine. The food typically available in our culture today simply does not have the amino acids, minerals, essential fatty acids, and other basic building blocks a body needs to maintain a healthy state. Most people I work with are able to get off all prescription medications. You can learn more about my practice at https://www.drlindawright.net and https://www.arizonarealhealth.net.
